The short answer
A transparent MCN statement shows, for each month: ad, Premium and paid-feature revenue separately, adjustments to past months with their reason, US tax and how it was computed, the network's share, and the net and currency. You check it against YouTube Analytics and your contract, and by asking your network about any gap you cannot explain.
Channel owners in networks ask: “How do I know my earnings arrived in full?” and “Why is the statement figure different from Studio?”. The question is legitimate, and a good network welcomes it. This guide explains what you should see on your statement and how to check it yourself.
What should your earnings statement show?
It should show every revenue source separately and every deduction with its reason, so you can follow how the network reached the net:
| Item | Why you need it |
|---|---|
| Ad revenue | The largest source, from the ads report |
| YouTube Premium revenue | Arrives in reports separate from ads |
| Paid features | Memberships, Super Chat, Super Stickers |
| Partner-provided and UGC | What your channel earned, and what your content earned on other channels |
| Adjustments and their reason | They change past months up or down |
| US tax and its method | Not shown in Analytics, so the network must state it |
| The network's share | As in your contract |
| Net and currency | What you actually receive |
Why does the statement differ from YouTube Analytics?
It differs because Analytics shows estimates, while the statement is built on final financial reports. YouTube Help says final earnings may differ from estimates, and that withheld tax does not appear in Analytics, so a network's affiliate channel has to calculate it manually. A views gap is normal too, because revenue reports include UGC views and Track views.
Which questions should you ask your network?
A transparent partner answers these on the statement itself, before you ask:
- Is Premium revenue separate from ads, and from which report?
- How much of my revenue is UGC, and is it attributed to my assets rather than the re-uploader's channel?
- Which adjustments to past months landed this month, and what is the reason for each?
- Is my channel on the 500 list in the tax file or in a pool? What is its US revenue?
- Were negative lines (deductions) counted or dropped?
- How are the views on the statement counted?
- What network share was applied, and does it match the contract?
- Can I see a past month's statement? Reports are deleted from YouTube after 60 days, so the network is the one keeping them.
Which signs call for a question?
- A statement giving one figure with no breakdown by source.
- A deduction with no stated reason. YouTube's own channel-level adjustment report gives a reason for every deduction.
- Tax with no calculation method.
- A large change in the UGC share with no explanation.
- Difficulty getting a past month's statement.
These signs do not necessarily mean an error, since YouTube's reports are complex, but they deserve a question. Injaz Digital's statement is designed to answer them upfront: every source on its own, every adjustment with its reason, tax with its method, and every month kept.
How do you choose a network with clear statements?

FAQ
Why are my earnings on the network statement lower than YouTube Analytics?
Because Analytics shows estimates before tax, adjustments and the network's share, while the statement is built on final reports after them. Ask for each deduction's breakdown.
Does US tax appear in YouTube Analytics?
No. YouTube Help says withholding amounts do not appear in Analytics, so a network's affiliate channel has to calculate it, and the network states it on the statement.
Can I ask for a past month's statement?
Yes. Since YouTube deletes reports after 60 days, a network that keeps each month's files can give you any past statement.
What should an earnings statement break down?
Ads, Premium and paid features, Partner-provided and UGC, adjustments and their reason, tax and its method, the network's share, and the net.
