How do you get the Official Business Account checkmark?
You get it by a request from WhatsApp Manager once you meet all of Meta's criteria:
- Register your company number on the WhatsApp Business Platform and wait at least 30 days.
- Verify your business in your Meta business portfolio (Business Verification).
- Turn on two-step verification on the business number.
- Make sure your display name is approved and that you follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
- In WhatsApp Manager: Phone numbers, then Profile, then Official business account, and submit the request.
Approval isn't guaranteed. If the request is rejected, Meta says you can submit a new one after 30 days. Business Verification in Meta Business Suite on its own gives no badge.
